I just got my new 318 poly gasket kit today and the FelPro head gaskets are metal one side and blue (paper?) the other side..I am assuming the blue paper is face up when I lay the gasket on the engine block (that's the only way it seems to fit the block) but i'm wondering if the raw metal side needs the copper spray sealant or something before install? what is the recommended practice for installing? Many thanks :)

The whole (both sides) need to be copper coated and allowed to dry before installation. Jim
