OIL FILTER CONVERSION KIT
Where do I find a 'conversion kit' that will allow me to remove the 'old-school' oil filter cartridge with the bolt going all the way through...and replace it with a normal/modern screw-on type of oil filter?

Fram has a kit for this it's part number K-21. Here is some info on my build thread about where I got mine and how it looks. Works great!

Stop by any pick & pull to remove the unit from any MoPar LA-318 or LA-360.
Do Not Take The Used Oil Filter. Just the Filter Number.

Keep the center bolt filter. I wish they still offered them.
The center bolt filter is better because you can drop the filter and easily inspect it for debris, bearing shell rinds, crap and so forth.
Hint, buy two canisters and bolts so you can drop one in a plastic pan and put the clean one on promptly-if they are even still available. The other one gets cleaned and put away for the next time.
