Looking to upgrade my carb. from my stromberg. Nothing fancy or a gas guzzler, just an updated replacement.
Taking a brief look at what is out there, I'm not quite sure where to start since I 've never bought a carb. before.

If im thinking correctly (which isn't often
) a Carter BBD or BBS should fit just fine.

1970 D100 Custom/Midnight Blue/ LA-318/727 3 speed auto.

go to the parts house and order a carb for a 66 318, they came from the factory that year with a strom or a carter. tell them you want the carter. may have to bump up to a 67-68 but if you order it with the same options as your truck, it will bolt in. youll need a different air cleaner, the strom cleaner wont fit the carter.
