I found a 70 D200 camper special that has power steering, just wondering if anyone has tried to fab this over to a power wagon? I haven't got a close look yet, this truck buried in the bushes still, going to rescue it today, but I have a 70 W200 and started wondering.

If your going to do a power steering conversion and depending on how close to stock you wish to keep your truck ,It may be best to go a step further and do a full power steering upgrade with a newer style box. Don't bother with the old ram and control valve style in the drag link.

Hello. New member. I have a 1969 crew cab with W200 68 running gear. How do I find a compatible new steering box like you are suggesting?

Currently my 66 W100 has a steering box from a 75/77 W100/W200 in it. Used the stock column with a custom steering shaft and mounted the box in front of the axle. If I was to do it again I would probably use the next generation W100/W200 box and do a crossover steering system. My current one works but has bump steer. As I don't put a lot of miles on it I live with it. But it would be easy to upgrade it to the later box as the major mods are (frame/shocks relocated/column) done.

I've got an 85 Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 cross steer on my Crew. Works super well.

Is it possible to get a parts list from you. Did you get this from a wrecking yard? What parts did you have to fabricate? I have the control valve and cylinder parts but they need to be rebuilt. I'm hearing it's not worth it.

I did find some stuff on ebay, but I'm not sure what to look for. See this link for example.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/321223859087?ss ... 1423.l2649

This is one of the last steps for me to get this rig on the road. Thanks!.

I'll try and get some pictures and post them here. If I don't get them today will be at least a week since I'm working out of state. How about giving me your email address so I can send some larger photos.
