I run 33x12.5x16.5 BFG All Terrain in the Summer months. I love the stance and feel. My rims are 9.75x16.5. I had them from a truck I sold.
When it comes time for new tires, I'm going to switch to 16's or 17's. 16.5 are way to expencive and limmited in options.
My Winter Wheels are factory steel 16xskinnny. I run 235x75x16 BFG Mud terrain. I'd love to buy newer Dodge chrome or aluminum wheels to put the snow tires on.
These threads have pictures of my summer tire stance.

I run 235/85/16LTs on my '68 W200 on stock steel wheels. I have a set
of 8R/17.5s on my '61 D200.

One of the original size tires
on W200's was the 7.50 x 16. The 16.5" tires aren't as easy to find as
they once were and, when you find them, they are usually a bit more
expensive than the 16s.

W200 with 235/85-16's.
Kinda tall and skinny, but cheap, easy to find and quiet.
2 feet of snow didn't stop them!

i am running a 7.5 x 16 tire on split rims. they are astro mud and snow on the front. they look like a knockoff of the old super swamper style tire. they dig like crazy in mud and sand but absolutely suck on ice since they are an old bias tire. and the rear i got some goodyear workhorse bias tires that are probably older than me.
this is the first pic i have posted of my truck, 68 W200 getting a new body and 8 inch lift this summer. she has been through hell and back just tonight i buried her in 3 feet of snow in the field. and i witnessed and old chev blow up his fresh 454 on his virgin run.

i love those astro mud and snows! do they still sell them or are they discontinued? i will most likely get a set of 16" rims and go with the 235/85/r 16s because they are cheap and easy to find.

i actually bought those tires off a buddy who had bought them off another buddy so im not sure where they came from. i did a quick search on the net and astrotires.com does not list them. maybe it is a different company or they are discontinued. but the tires arent weatherchecked at all so they must be fairly new. tires make a world of difference so choose wisely.

33 x 16.5 BFG All Terrain's, on 10" Centerline rims. I like the old school look of the taller sidewall. Only drawback is limited tire selectionm for 16.5 rim.
