Howdy,
I have a '70 W300 with 8 lug Dana 70's. The front axle has the closed knuckle. Anybody know of an outfit that sells a disc brake conversion kit for this? If not, perhaps someone has done a home-built conversion that could point me in the right direction? I had a mechanic go through the brakes and they are worse than before. He ended up putting all the old parts back on because he couldn't find replacements. I really want to drive the old girl, but am afraid to anymore.

You can try http://www.uglytruckling.com. Ray (Helitool)makes these conversions but he is relocating his shop right now, so no kits available for 4 months. I have a post under the brakes sections requesting the same info. Just a heads up.
