I am finally getting started on getting my project going. I looked at some posts but still have questions on the color of the T-case and trans. after degreasing and pressure washing for hours the Trans appears to be black and transfer case orange. Does this sound right?

I would say you'd be safe Chrysler Industrial Red for both.
At the least.... the t-case would be Chrysler Industrial Red.
