I was going to try and keep my closed knuckle so it would be kind of "original," but hearing the turning radius leaves a little to be desired makes me glad I decided to swap.

Hey, on your front shackles, how long are they eye to eye?
What a mess.

no, it says the manufacturer is john mitchell and the model is Mauk IV. it was installed by the dealer in '65 and it still blows cold air.

i haven't done the exhaust yet ... that's next winter's project. i am excited about it.

Very nice! I like the ride height even better, and the disc swap looks good. I was studying how to use chevy stuff for the swap, and it looks like yours uses chevy rotors and some dual piston caliper. Probably really helps with the braking.
What a mess.

Exactly how tall are the tires you have mounted on the 22 inch wheels????? Looks like to me you did not get enuff spring to ever use the truck anywhere, the rear of the front fender is about to cut into the front tire as i view it, the wheel offset looks off to, nice try, how many inch springs did they build for you and how much did they cost you each???

tires are 37" lift is 6" there is plenty of room the tires could never hit.the wheel backset is 6" just like the stock wheels, this was intentional because I dont like the tires sticking way out past the fenders like you have to on the newer trucks.the springs were about $250 ea.

If you were ever to drive it on anything but flat ground, get it in 4wheel drive and twist it up or bounce it around, those tires would eat your fenders, unless your uptravel is seriously limited. The front fenderwell opening is about 36", the rear about 38". The fronts need extra room since they steer.
