Hello all, I heard about the site from a member of
http://www.cuda-challenger.com and I thought I would check it out. I didn't think that there was a forum for these type of trucks but I'm sure glad there is. I've got a 69 D300 with a 318, 4 speed, dana 60 and 4.88 gears. I've got a few other rides in my signature as well. I hope to learn some more info here about my truck. Its been in the family for 20 years now. My dad gave it to me a few years ago and its fun to drive. One thing is for sure, you don't see many of them at all. I've seen some D100s and D200s, but I've only seen 2 or 3 other D300s like mine.

Thanks again for the welcomes. I'm disappointed I left the cable at school. I thought I had grabbed it on the way out. The truck has been a work horse all of its life until recently. It was bought new by a monument company and has hauled granite monuments since day 1. That's what my dad originally bought it for and recently we retired it from active duty. I hope to restore it after I get done with all of the car projects. I know it needs some new syncros though, lol. When I shift gears I have to take like 5 seconds between each shift. I really need an air cleaner lid for it though. Mine is in sad shape. I've looked at the annual mopar show at Commerce every year now for the past 5-6 years and haven't seen one yet. If anyone has an extra one or an entire 2 barrel air cleaner assembly, let me know.

Welcome, I'm a new member also (four months). Really nice people. Mopar people usually are. Watch them though, they will have you selling off them chebbys for more Mopars! Don't forget to put that truck in the registry.

I'm from Elberton. About 45 minutes northeast of Athens. I don't think I'll sell my Chevrolets

Yeah, but you can tell it's not original. It has side trim on it.
