I just bought my 67 dodge d100 this summer at the Mopar nats and do I ever love it!
Now I want to restore it to as close to orignal as possible.
You guys out there have done this before so I'm looking for some helpful info on where to get stuff like windshield (front and rear) seals and orignal paint colour codes etc.
I want to get this started this winter cause I won't be driving it in the snow and salt we have here in Canada.
This 67 is orange in colour but it has been painted once. The ownership says orignaly the colour code says ONG but it looks to me like the colour was toro red. Is that a possibilite? Plus the dash looks like it was orange at one time and someone painted it black. Does anyone have any idea what the dash looked like when it was new?
I sure hope ya'll don't mind lots of questions cause I've got too many!

Welcome and congrats on your purchase
Any reputable windshield shop should be able to help
you out on the glass. If you're in need of the rubber
gaskets.... try:

There are other sources for the gaskets and I'm sure
someone will chime in. If the truck is a re-paint, you
might find some original color behind the seat on the
back of the cab... or even behind the gas tank [if
the re-paint wasn't thorough.... that is...]. I've seen
dashes color matched to the body paint and just as
many or more in the standard black color which was
a mainstay from '67 on up. Post up any and all of
your questions, needs, etc. and we'll assist

My truck was red once but no one believes it as the sun has faded it to an orange hue.

Welcome PumpkinPeg. Good luck with your new project, you'll find a lot of answers to your questions from this group. I also would suggest you go to the Sweptline store and order Jim Megee's Sweptline Restoration CD. He's done a fine job documenting his restoration and the CD has info on parts resources and part numbers. I bought one to use with my 68 D200. It was money well spent.
