serial # help

Post by kelboy »

I have a 1969 D300 with the serial # D3J2J26826 when i decode the # it's says it is an invalid serial # the data plate on the door does not have rivets holding it on it has screws like someone changed it at one point but everything on the plate matches the truck (wb, engine, trans, etc.) is there somewhere else on the truck where i could find the serial #. Thanks guys for any help.

on the frame somewhere around where the front shock is mounted I think. someone may be able to give you a better idea where to look, but my understanding is that there is no one certain place they put them.
