Hello from Idaho. It is great to find this forum! I got my first 1968 Sweptline in 1978 when I was a Junior in high school. It was a great learning experience. It was my first paint job and was an all around fun truck. Fast forward to last year and I found this 64. Decided to leave the outside the was it was. Been fixing it up ever since. Just finished putting in Prius power steering that I truly enjoy. It was a fairly simple swap. I just need to finish tying up loose ends. As soon as I figure out how to resize my pictures I will get them posted. Thanks

Welcome to the forums. Very interesting on the Prius power steering conversion. I like the look of your rims. Could you tell me what size your running? looks like the back rims are wider?

Yes the back rims are 15x8 and the fronts are 15x7 torq thrust D’s. 255/70-15 inch tires.

FYI that stainless side trim is highly desirable and sought after.

That stuff is rarer than hens teeth. I’m missing a piece on the drivers side bed too!

Welcome, good timing on mentioning your Electric Power steering.

As you already have seen I am documenting my conversion in the Steering forum.

Thanks Aaron I hope I’m not stepping on your toes. I know you are going to love the system. It is funny how we both came up with almost the same conclusions on mounting. I promise I had not seen yours until now. I found out that the Bergeron 312500 connector fits on the lower splines and weld the lower shaft on to the smooth end. Saved me a lot of time.
I’ll stay off of your thread your doing a great job of documenting everything a lot better than I could. If you have questions let me know I would be happy to help any way I can.

Kevin

So I just got caught up on your posts on the electric power steering and I will shut up now!!!! You are really doing an awesome job!!!!
