I just got my '61 Sweptline 1/2 ton uteline with slant six. I found the truck in Seguin, TX about a mile from where my parents lived. Its in generally in good shape - it doesn't run and needs tires, clutch, brakes, and a windshield -the body and bed floor wood is solid. The grill needs some work - which is a 1-year only item. My plans are to clean it - coat the underbody with Fluid-Film to preserve it, and just drive it. I've got 2 or 3 good slant sixes if the motor needs work. The registration window sticker is for 2000. There is no radio or built-in heater controls - its got an aftermarket heater.
