64 D100 Whats It Worth

Post by michiganhotrod1 »

Can i get general opinion on my Sweptline's value?
I really injured my shoulder, and the manual steering and 4 speed combination of this won't be in the cards for several years. I need a different truck with an automatic.
I am fuzzy on value, since I paid $1000 when I bought it in 1987.
64 D100 Sweptline 8' box, slant six and 4 speed, few options. It is an original Arizona truck, and I am only the third owner. Solid body. Mechanically good: the engine was professionally rebuilt, mechanicals all refurbished. it has a new windshield, anda good quality repaint that is now suffering some in the box area, since i actually used it as a truck. It is in Michigan, but is garaged and not used in winter.
Needs the seat upholstered, the tires are little used but timed out, and probably some miscellaneous items, but overall a solid reliable truck.
Comments are welcome.
Thank you.
Mark

I always say, something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. I have no idea what the truck is worth, but she sure is a pretty thing for sure!!!

Very nice truck. Sorry you are selling it. You might consider listing it on Ebay auction with a reserve you can live with and see where the bidding ends up. I think John's estimates are realistic. Good luck. :Thumbsup

Thanks for the input. The price ranges sound reasonable. Vehicle ads with crazy prices or no prices are a pet peeve of mine.
Nothing happening right now, I need to heal a bit first.
