Or go through there regularly?
This has potential to be "the one".

Yes it sure does look that way. That 64 wheelbase is enough to make it look so. I have had a few of those and even thought about to modify the last 14 to 18 inches or so to make it a 6 foot plus shorty.
I just pondered back then,.. never did try it. Obviously one would likely have to cut off some of aft frame as well.
Nonetheless it is nice to leave it be, as this is one very nice truck as it sits . That yellow over yellow looks good on a sweptline. Gordo

No, that's a standard longbed.

I guess it is that I am so used to seeing my shortbed!!

The reason it looks like the last foot or so needs to be shortened is because the wheelbase on as 64 is much shorter than on a 65 thru 71 8 foot sweptline. Gordo

Got some more pictures via email and it's a bit too rusty for me.
We have different ideas of what it means for the floor boards to have been "replaced".

Just because its from Montana doesn't mean its not rusty. I looked at that truck and it will need some TLC. I live in western Idaho "Weiser" so if any of you want me to look at something, Shoot me an email. I picked up a late year 65 short box last weekend in Buhl which is next to Twin Falls for 600 last weekend. I'm new to here so i'll be asking some questions.
1967 D200 4x4 318 4 speed.
1965 D100 Short box 225 3 speed.

Tim1159,
Dang I was gonna go after that truck you just bought. Any rust issues on it? Wanted to put a 4bt 5 speed in it. Looking for a '65-'71 short sweptline bed up there in the southern half of Idaho. I need the bed for another truck. Know of any?
