windshield

Have a 70 d100 that needs a windshield. What years interchange with mine and does anyone have a link or place to get a decent used or new one. What would be a going rate for a used one. I live in N IL if that helps. Thanks Eric. P.s. as always im broke but am planning to get one for a winter project.

There's a thread on here from a cpl yrs ago. I had one that I saved for yrs and was extremely p!ssed when my step son broke it with a bb gun. Then I was surprised to find out that all of the local glass shops can get them, and they weren't very expensive. I would have thought that nothing would be available.

Mine came through a local shop. You can find just about any kind of windshield now. My dad searched and searched and finally called a local shop to find a '53 diamond T windshield. The local shop had a line on one. It was expensive, but they got it. Call up your local shops, they should be able to hook you up.

Shouldn't be hard to find. Ask your local Auto Glass shop for NAGS # DW-605. as for a used one, 61-71 dodge and fargo 100-300 series trucks all had the same windshield.
I'd recommend replacing the windshield rubber at the same time. mine cost about 80 bucks, well worth it (usually doesn't come with the lockstrip, a good shop will stock the black type, it's just 1/4" round rubber)

Found one in Indy for $210 installed. But that is only place I have called, also. May be cheaper somewhere else, but 210 didnt sound that bad to me....
