Went to the junkyard today and saw a '71 D100 that ate a tree or telophone pole. It was a smashed clear to the water pump and then some. Lots of carnage. Also saw a '65 D500 school bus converted to a motorhome. It was bright orange and freakin sweet. It had a 318 and a 2 speed rear. It looked pretty good-too bad I didn't get any pictures. Also found a mid seventies Dodge 1/2 ton with a slant six and a manual on the floor. I think it was a 4 speed, meaning it could be the 833OD I'm looking for, but I guess it could have also been a 3 speed on the floor. Does anyone know if there was a 3 speed manual on the floor? Couldn't get all the way under the truck, but it looked like it had the same type side loader linkage on the trans. If so, I may be making a trip back there to get a 4 speed overdrive...
Also, my '65 D100 from Greenlight Die cast came in. It looks pretty sweet. Now I have a good excuse to buy a pie plate...
