Post by farmhand66css »

I am looking for the round mirror heads for the door mounted posts. I was looking on the JC whitney catalog but not sure what will work best. What have you guys used??

I also have a tool box cut into the bed of the truck. I need to replace the weatherstripping on it. Can't find anything similar to replace it, i NEED HELP

THANKS, Matt

hey matt, check the local parts store and the local truck stops for the mirror heads. i have found a pretty good selection at them that may not be original, but look like it. as far as the tool box in the bed. from what i understand a lot of them were generic add ons at the dealer, so you might check with one of the chevy or ford resto places, they might have a gasket that works.

You now have a selection and can get every gasket on the trucks and have not heard of either having a bad fit: http://www.restorationspecialist.com & http://www.steel-rubber.com
