Just purchasing my first d100 1964 and wondering what the up-side-down hooks running along the outside of the bed are. I assume they're for tying down loads but wondering whether they're oem since I haven't seen them before on a d100.
Anyone know?
thanks

i would assume they were added for securing loads. not as factory option, but a common after market upgrade on a truck.

Camper shell tiedowns are another possiblity. One in each corner, set at an angle, would be common attachment points for turnbuckles.

They lift the truck with the hooks to rotate the tires.

my 64 d100 long wheel base pickup had those up side down hooks also. they looked like they came with the pick up when it was new
