Mechanical pump leak
I’m currently having an issue with my mechanical fuel pump. Well there’s seems to be a little hole on the bottom side of the pump is that supposed to be like that open like that fuel drips out of it when I have the truck running somebody tell me why

The diaphragm inside is split. You need a new pump. Its not fixable. The hole is a vent and is supposed to be there.

Thank you just Purchased a new mechanical pump quick question I have a slight 6 225 I went from a one barrel to a four barrel intake and carburetor It turns on but when it’s time to push the gas it like sluggish like it doesn’t want to rev do you know what is that

normal amount of fuel into the engine.

Check your spark plugs. Probably sooty black. If so, too much carb/fuel

I’m having problems with my truck it cranks but take like 3 try’s to turn on any body have any idea what can be going on

The truck runs great it’s getting it to turn over now that’s the problem
