Is there such a thing as a D100 Camper special? I just got a 1966 Sweptline with poly 318. It seems to have all the camper special options on it. Has an extra fuel tank on driver's side, overload springs, the big mirrors, has a dual groove crank pulley, but only a single gle groove alternator. Pervious owner added an aftermarket in cab A/C unit that is using the second crank pulley groove.
Just trying to figure out if the extra fuel tank was a factory/dealer option from when it was new. The fuel selector valve is on passenger side floorboard. If it's not an original part I will remove it. If it was original, then I'd like to find a passenger side tank to install.

Yes, there was a D100 Camper Special.
Based on the information given, there is no way to determine if the fuel tank was factory, dealer installed or a later addition.

There would be a "camper special" badge on the fenders.
Tank valve on the passenger floor is bizarre. The numerous ones Ive had or seen are all where the driver can reach it.
Pretty sure all aux tanks were dealer/aftermarket installed.
Doesn't sound like a CS to me.
