Several have used a radiator from a M body (Diplomat/Fifth Avenue/Gran Fury) but I don't know if the inlet/outlet is in the correct place for a slant 6.

ive converted to power disc brakes, next power steering and AC but i highly recommend power disc brakes. there are some super easy kits out there.Truckhead219 wrote:Yeah, I probably wouldnt make any money from painting the thing professionally. I was going to try and do it myself.
Do you have anymore tips? Is it worth converting to PS,PB and A/c? Leave it as is and drive it around?

I have one same year, same power team. Runs perfect. original paint is fading. Original factory yellow inside and out. I do have some ez floor repair which I will be doing in the next couple weeks. Cab mounts are in great shape. Floor integrity is very good. It will be cleaned, protected properly, then fibreglassed by an expert.
(I do have a patch panel but it just does'nt need it.)
I am a very reasonable seller and for a short window of time I offered it for sale.
It is a 2 owner vehicle and only has 68,000 mile verified.! I offered it at 1500.00
After I do the floor repair I will ask 2000.00
Interior paint is yellow and is in superb condition. Exterior paint is good but is fading on the hood.
Small dent here and there, very few.
I have owned, and sold many, and I hope this info helps. Gordo

Hey Gordo, I would suggest doing everything except adding fiberglass which could trap moisture.
That is a great truck btw.

Hey Wally. I took your concern to my body guy today. He has been working with fiberglass for 20 years. He agreed if done without care or concern of trapped moisture that it could happen. He assured me that what he has planned will not allow for trapped moisture.
Thanks, and I appreciate your comments for sure.

i used a radiator from a 74 grand torino, it slipped right in and is a little larger than my original radiator. both ports are in the right spot for a SB or BB engine, I dont know about a slant six though.
