We are hoping it will be a great project. Unfortunately all our money and free time is getting dumped into new flooring in the house and clearing our land. Hopefully soon I will be able to start tearing into it. We just have to get the brakes working, get the steering tight, and get a new carb, and we should be on the road with no issues. I figure we will take it out now and again for a drive on sunny days before winter rolls around, then we will start tearing into it. Any recommendations on what to do with the engine? As of right now, I just plan on doing a long block rebuild, anything I should consider when doing this? Also, anyone have the auto tranny rebuilt in theirs? If so, what was the approx price tag on that?

Thanks,
Dan

Dan, I dont know how far away from Bremerton (WA) you are, but I have a 69-71 hood at my shop there. And coincidentally I am in need of a 68 hood. I wont be back up that way till mid-late Sept, so let me know if you are interested.
