This Year's Buck

This is the buck I shot this year, it was just a little bit bigger than the buck I shot last year. It was a 130 yd. shot. I shot him on the second day of firearms season(11-14-10). I also got a doe the following Thurs(11-18-10), but it was only a 60 yd. shot. They were both shot across the road from my house on a private air-strip.

That's a beauty Mudd.

I have had no luck with the bucks this year. I did take a doe during the second day of firearms. Since then I have been taking the kids out trying to help my son get his first deer. My daughter just likes to go sit and giggle at her brother. Great times.......

Thanks for the offer, I may have to take you up on that. We hunt a small 15 acre piece of land in Brown County but not many deer through there. We are doe hunters mostly. Haven't found a good receipe for antlers yet.
