The Toys for Tot cuise is Dec 13Th.The 2ND Sat. of the month! So get thous trucks fired up and come to Fort Collins to help with getting some kids a good Xmas.
I will be posting a map as soon as I can! The root will be the same as it was a few years ago.
I hope the weather is good this year because the cruise wasn't a good turn out ( due to the snow!)and we had very little toys to give!
I think there is going to be a lot more kids in need this year than years past due to the economy! And many people losing there homes.
kman1226 wrote:Old_Blue could you post meeting place time? Final destination? This is for the Marine Corps Reserve correct?
Ya thats correct kman. This is for the Marine Corp Toy for Tots toy drive. The toys go to needy family's here in Colorado. We will meet at the Sonic at 1301 W Elizabeth St, west side of Fort Collins at 9 am .And cuise to a "new location this year!"They down sized the toy drive drop off places this year due to the economy.
We will talk cars and truck for about a hour or so and then cruise as a group to the new location. They will have Café Tea and hot coco with some cookies for the group. Then we get together for the group photo!
I haven't got the rout figured out yet but I am working on it!

basically we meet at the Sonic, with all participants, then we will cruise to the drop off point, handing the toys to the represenative's of the Marine Corp, this is where we will have all these fine machines lined up for a group photo and chit, chat more This is for all makes and models, its good to see the vintage vehicle's come together.
How many think they can make the trip? Gas prices up here are as low as I have seen it in years!!
I have anther question... I have a Santa suit and was thinking of putting it on this year. What do you think? Is it a good idea or not?
If you or anyone has any questions about the toys for tots cuise jut call me on my cell!! My number is (970)-420-5260
Thanks Corry....Old_Blue.
If I had my "rather's", I would prefer to see you as "Santa vs Cat Woman".
I always feel it is not the price of gas that keeps folks where they are. I was speaking with an driver from Lake Wood yesterday and from his inquire's I feel as if he and a son may be joining you.
A couple of years ago some South of Fort Collins in the Denver area met in Thornton and convoyed up to Ft. Collins. The total was not great, but the effect of the truck's on the Hwy was alsome.
