Dodgeboykim, it's interesting that all of the literature shows a 14" wheelbase difference from a short to long bed on 65-71 trucks. The guy in that thread cut 15" out of his bed. He removed 5" from the rear.

I didnt pay attention to the details.

Re: Fuel Injection on a swetpy?

A 92 up Magnum V8 MPFI System will not bolt onto an LA Block. Countless people have used aftermarket bolt on FI Systems due to relative ease of conversion. Its up to you to research and decide what's best. The 92 up Magnum V8 engines have been bolted into older carbed vehicles by turning the electro...

For that price it would be better to adapt front rubber isolators from something readily available and cost effective. :thinking :thinking

Re: NEW GUY HERE- D200 converting to manual steering, any advice?

I have noticed that PS Assist pitman arms are curved in an S Shape. All the Non PS I have seen are straight or sometimes curved. Cant explain the reason for that.

. So hence my comment.

Just a matter of removing PS Assist system and getting a new pitman arm and drag link to replace the parts removed. :thinking
Are you sure the pitman arm is different?

That will be apparent when you get into it. If I'm wrong, No big deal.

Re: Seat coverings and body trim

Ok that’s cool. Upon closer inspection of my truck (haven’t driven it in a few years) I can see there was trim along the lower body but none along the “Sweptline line”. That’s good enough to move forward with. Thanks for your efforts at looking that up for me. :Thumbsup :Thumbsup :Thumbsup :Thumbsup
