Same color as my 62 short bed here in Oklahoma. I'd sure be interested in it also, if the finder gets to buy it and doesn't want to be the keeper. Ha

Hey guys my 62 D100 doesn't have any door armrests in it nor does it look like it came from the factory with them. I have a couple doors off a 64 that came with armrests. What year did they start putting them in the pickups or was it a option? Also what year did they start with seat belts, mine also...

Re: Converting front End to IFS
I used Scotts IFS and have been very impressed with it so far, will have to make motor stands and notch the frame a little for the rack to clear but very impressive kit that Scotts sells.

Unhooking speedo cable
Hey guys been taking my 62 out for its first test runs and I'm dealing with a horribly noisy speedometer at the moment, was wondering if I unhook it at my 727 trans for the time being will I have a trans leak occur there when driving or is it a dry area with no fluid at needle end? Thanks!

Re: Brakes locking down
Ya I know that it would be better with a dual master cylinder reservoir, but I'm not the best about flaring brake lines, ha. Was wanting to just stick with the single reservoir if I could. Thanks.

Speedometer Cable
Hey guys working on my 62 d100. Came with slant 6, 3 on the tree, now putting a la318, 727 trans in it. Looked up a part number for a new speedo since I'm doing the swap and came up with a Napa # 615-1606 that says it fits D100s from 1963-1971. 87" long. Sound like it would work on the 62? Thanks Br...

318 Water pump & alternator mounting
Hey guys just picked up a donor 1985 d150 318/727 combo to replace my slant 6 in my 62 d100. My question is that I'm not going to be running any power steering or a/c but the alternator on the 85 is not lined up with the water pump pulley, set too far back. Should I replace the water pump with a uni...

Re: Automatic trans crossmember bracket
Thanks John but do brackets to frame face the rear of vehicle or face forward. Think it offsets the crossmember a lil forward or back depending on which way you face them? Thanks
