Re: Switching a 4 speed manual to a 5 in a 1967 W200?
First thing to consider is overall length of the transmission and how much room you have in between the transmission and transfer case. I have done the NV4500 swap in my 62 W100 with an LA 340. I have the stock NP201 transfer case. I used the Chevy 2 wheel drive version of the NV4500 as it has a fix...

Re: carpet
Rockauto.com has carpet kits via Auto Custom Carpets at a decent price. I've used quite a few of the ACC carpet kits and they are nice. Takes a while to put it in and do it right. The carpets kits are listed in the 1967-1971 Dodge years on Rockauto for some reason but they will fit all years 61-71. ...

Re: Radiator HELP!!!
I have used the Champion style CC375 on three trucks (two 383 engines and one 340). I have cut off the existing brackets as they are setup for 68-74 B and E bodies. I then welded on some 1.5" aluminum angle x 3/16" thickness, traced and drilled the four holes and it fits great. This way you can offs...

If you had access to a metal lathe, a mold could be easily made from an aluminum or metal puck.
The bores cleaned out fairly easily lol.

Re: NP201 Questions
I looked for the bushings as I might be interested in a set as well but no luck. That orange transfer case is in my red 62 W100 that was at the CA PW rally.

Re: NP201 Questions
The shift rail seals can be removed with the method you are describing. If you look close in the picture you can see the holes where the shift rails go and the recesses where the shift seals go (they were powder coated by accident). Look on rockauto.com for part numbers. The shift rail part numbers ...

Nice W100. 61's are hard to find especially 4wd and short bed. What engine are you running?

Re: 66 Poly 318 with leaking oil filter adapter
I just put on a spin-on adapter on my 66 poly and used a leftover (new) gasket for the canister style filter. Works fine with no leaks.

1498 Pine Green
1954-68
The body color was painted first then the top. Yes it is a little difficult to mask but get the good painters tape and take your time.

https://s15.postimg.cc/ui924giu3/20170224_164802.jpg This is a truck I helped restore. The top is an off white cream like color from a newer Mini Cooper. It might look good with that green unless you want a factory top color. To my knowledge the colors changed right along the line you can see in th...

Re: Where Do I DRaw the Line??
Most of the two tone jobs I have a seen are separated at top of the gutter. Just like this one: http://ccco.s3.amazonaws.com/vehicles/images/2/5/3/7/5/9/253759/5429836_20d9973613_low_res.jpg That truck looks like either the Pine Green or Bell Green. Just thought I would mention the California Power ...

Re: T-case U-joint
The only other factory option is the 5380 u joints (similar in size to a 1410). I have not seen any yokes like that in the modern 1350 or 1410 series.

They are the generic series of u joint not the part number. The large series driveshafts and u joints were an option so check that first. 5380 dimensions: http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/p10883_dana_spicer_5_1301x_universal_joint_greaseable_detroit_5380_.html 7260 dimensions: http://www.dennysdrives...

If it's the small u joint it is the 7260 series and the optional large detroit series is the 5380.

Re: Manual Steering Gear box - Will this work?
I ordered a box from Buy Auto Parts and all they did was paint it and it was a minimal at that. It had more steering play than the worn out original box. They sent me a replacement which had the exact same problem so they were both sent back. I don't recommend them.

Re: Front Dana 60/61 swap
Through a lot of trial and error with castor and drag link angle it can be done. I'm using a rebuilt manual Red Head steering box (for my 62 W100). At first, I adapted a drag link to use manual steering with the factory box on the Dana 60 front. Steering was tough (285/75r16 tires) and had a good am...

Re: Possible Axle Swap?
1. The Dana 44-3f is the same axle used since the late 50s in the W100 and W200 trucks that I have seen. There are different versions. They are good axles. (57?-58)- large six lug pattern, closed knuckle, drum brake (59-68)- Standard 8 on 6.5" lug pattern, closed knuckle, drum brake (69-71) W100- 5 ...
