Window crank handles different lengths
I was going through my parts stash today and came across my window crank handles. I have two sets and they are about 3/4 inch different in from each other. Was that a model year change item? If so, when did the changeover occur. These look to be off a 66ish model.

Re: 67 Camper special - what is this next to the brake boost
Kaegi....it sounds plausible. So what would that do for the brakes? Does it help modulate braking effort based on load/trailer tow? In my searches, I've seen other power brake trucks but none with this unit.

Re: 67 Camper special - what is this next to the brake boost
Based on what I've been able to find through internet searches, I'm leaning toward cruise control also. I'm used to seeing the cable coming out of the front leading to a bracket on the intake manifold and hooking to the carb. It may go back under the dash and hook to the gas pedal cable somehow. I'm...

Re: 67 Camper special - what is this next to the brake boost
It's an automatic transmission truck. There is a vacuum gauge mounted in the cab, but this seems awful fancy just for a vacuum gauge.

Re: 67 Camper special - what is this next to the brake boost
I haven't done much other than trailer it home on Tuesday....it's been too cold to go out there and mess with it. I've been doing internet searches in the warmth of my home to no avail yet. Something will turn up one way or another in a matter of time. Crawling under the dash was my next avenue as s...

67 Camper special - what is this next to the brake booster?
I just bought a 67 camper special that has a decent amount of options including power brakes and power steering. On the firewall just to the right of the brake booster (as you are facing the firewall) there is this unit that I have no idea what it is. At first I thought it was something like cruise ...

Thank You! That thread says it all. Those years CK beds are readily available at a good price. I'll keep my eyes open for a good one in the area.

Re: bed floor options
PwrWgnDrvr.....that was my thoughts....gives me room to work with the sheetmetal and then there are the bonus parts that come along that can be sold to offset the purchace price. I've been on the lookout for a decent one within reasonable distance... but here in the rustbelt it's hard to come by one...

bed floor options
I have a 67 short bed and the floor is dented up pretty badly and the front 6 inches is rusted out due to wet debris setting there for years. The rest of the bed is in really good shape. I know Exline offers replacement panels that come in two sections, but I was wondering if anyone had some other o...

Re: paint code
So if the truck had a white painted roof from the factory, would that be sand dune white, or corporate white?

Re: Anyone heard of 8 lug 19.5" wheels on a sweptline
Thanks guys, I'm not sure if $40 a rim for 5 rims is a good deal or not, but I think I'm going for it. The extra height on the tiresshould help tame the 4:88's a little. Your truck looks good with the rims and tires on it.

Anyone heard of 8 lug 19.5" wheels on a sweptline
I just picked up a 67 W100 shord bed, fleetside with 3/4 ton axles under it from the factory. The axles are 4:88 ratio and it currently has 16" rims on it. The guy selling it to me offered up some 8 lug 19.5" rims that he said are really rare....used for forrestry or something like that. It intrigue...
