you can remove the foam in a fuel cell and use it on the street,i used to off road race and we had to replace the foam every couple of years due to deterioration and it would clog up the filters with bits of old foam...hope this helps

I did also check a lil more on my tranny...to cold to look under truck (its a lil low and windchill here is like -15 )I did see a number 06 on the bell housing though

would it be worth the time/headache to put a 5.7 in my 66 ??(accidently posted in the parts forum).basically I have a 440 that needs a rebuild and have a guy wanting to trade me for a 2005 5.7 that has a lower end knock..i was also wondering if I need the computer to run the 5.7 or if I could use it...

I have a 440..it came with the truck but its locked up from sitting...a local guy wants to trade me 3 383 blocks,2 69s one with the hp stamped on it and 1 from 66..just not sure if that's a good deal..the 66 has the crank n rods but id still need intake,heads distributater :thinking ,exhaust...etc,e...

when you go to st.louis stop off in herman (corner of hwy 70 and hwy 19 take a left )about a hour outta st Louis..they have a few winerys there with wine tastings and tours..stone hill is a personal fav lol...congrats on the wedding

ill agree that posting a craigslist add is inviting trouble,thats why for all my craigslist stuff I use a cheap throw away phone like ya get at wally world..that way im not using my main phone..another "trick" that's becoming popular is just using an e-mail as a reply only then you spend the next 6 ...

craigslist has gotten to suckin so bad that most people here in central Missouri wont even mess with an ad with only a e-mail reply..bell bottoms will come back in style before you get a reply

it was a factory shifty truck but now it has an automastic in it..a 920..but I still have the hydraulic set up for the clutch up on a shelf..just the cylinder and stuff no bellhousing.

even here in mid Missouri jeeps are really expensive..maybe get her a ramcharger ?? keep the mopar line goin lol..1 other thing..i think jeep stands for Just Empty Every Pocket

anyone have any ideas on putting a 40 in a d100 frame where a 6 was originally ?? what mounts would I use ?? maybe from a 413 ??anyone done this...thx in advance for yer help
