Re: Cab support while replacing floors
A picture would be great. I have mine sitting on my rockers right now, they are very rusty so it looks like they are giving a little bit.

Cab support while replacing floors
There's probably already a conversation out there, but I've had trouble finding it. How have you guys supported your cab (assuming it's off the frame) while you replace the cab mounts, floor pans, etc.? I thought about making a jig that bolted in where the door hinges used to be on one side of the d...

Re: Disc brake bolts
How thick did you go on the plate material? I am going with .25 stock, I think that will be sufficient.

Re: Disc brake bolts
I've done a little more research and I think they are an M11X1.50, not very common. I am trying to run down a tap so I can get some threads cut.

Disc brake bolts
So I am trying to do a front disc brake conversion on my 66 D100, and I have got the calipers from a 1990 C1500 and rotors from a Crown Vic. Rather than order the Scarebird brackets, I decided to make my own. The plate I made fits great, however I am having trouble finding a nut to tack weld to the ...

Service manual question
I ordered a service manual for my truck off Amazon and I got it in the mail today. I haven't opened it yet though because I am concerned that it is only for the 4x4 models, it does not say anything on the cover about the 2wd models, although it does say it covers the 2wd models in the Amazon title. ...

Re: Sweptline Restoration CD
I'm still figuring out where everything is on the site, but is there a thread with nothing but pictures of tire/wheel combinations?

Re: 1966 vs 1971
For sure Mike. Trust me, as soon as the weather turns a little more favorable I am going to take a Saturday or even take a day off work and head out there to spend some time and probably some money. I will definitely post some pictures.

Four speed?
Found this ad on Craigslist, could anyone tell me if this 4 speed would be the a833 or the 435 'truck' transmission? '83 Dodge Ram 150 4x4 truck to be parted out. Call and let me know what you need. Has everything you would need for a complete truck. 4 speed manual tranny, transfer case, slant 6 eng...

Re: 1966 vs 1971
Never mind, looks like he beat me to it. Soop is he pretty reasonable on his prices? I am looking for an 833 with overdrive to put behind my slant six, he wanted $500 a piece for the tranny alone, I thought that was kind of steep.

Doug's 4-Wheelers. He's in Pella, Iowa. He has quite a few old Dodge pickups, one of these days I will go out there with a camera and take some pictures.

Re: 1966 vs 1971
Thanks for the info. Went out to Doug's the other day, it was frigidly cold and I was a little underdressed but I still spent an hour or so out there just running around looking at stuff. He had way too much for me to look at in one day, I will have to go out there and spend an afternoon or maybe ev...

1966 D100 2wd short bed, 3 speed on the column with a slant six. Wondering mostly about body panels, but anything else I can salvage would be great.
