Re: Oil Pan Gasket Change?

Why not just jack one side of the truck up? You wont need to remove the distributor, hoses, etc..

Re: 727 tail housing seal removal and installation tips

Usually they come right out but snce your having trouble lets see if we can help. Take a flat head screwdriver and start tapping it around the edge of the SEAL. This will break loose after going around it (as much as you can) then you can use a pair of pliers to pull it out. A side note....seal pull...

Re: Has anyone had there aluminum grille repaired?

I re-do a lot of grilles for the guys over FBBO. A lot of time goes into it as mentioned above, some have cracks that need welding, some are really smashed, but in the end, they all come out looking pretty damn nice. Post some pics of your grille, maybe I can help.

In a few words, they are junk. Spend the money and get the real green bearings if that's is what you want to use. Dr. Diff, aka Cass can set you up.

Swapping an oil pan and pick up tube is no biggie if needed. What is a PG era frame as mentioned above?

Re: CSS engine cross member

That's it!! Glad I don't have some bastardized part on the truck. Now the big question, will that cross member cause any problems with a 440?

Re: CSS engine cross member

I've the rear most cross member, none in the middle, and 1 connecting the frame mounts for the engine. I need to get a pic up so everyone can see what is there, but this iPad won't do it, or I don't know how to use it correctly, may need to wait for he better half to get home.

Re: CSS engine cross member

Mine has the cross member connecting the 2 engine mounts off the frame. If someone would let me text them a pic, just to confirm that it is not needed that would help.

CSS engine cross member

I have decided not to do a 3G hemi swap in my 64' d200 CSS, instead, a 440 will fit the bill. I would like to see the engine cross brace on any CSS truck, as mine has it, but not sure if it is needed. Tried using the search tab, but nothing came up pertaining to the brace. So if ya have a couple of ...

Cab mounts...

I bought a set of cab mounts for a 72 dodge, My truck is a 64' CSS D200, they are energy suspension, and just the rough eye ball, they look to be the right size. So in the next few days I'm going to attempt getting them on. I got these because my drivers side sits lower than the bed, body line, and ...

Well, I got into the doors today and found that everything was there minus the door locks. I got a set for an early b body and made a stud...as another member did here on the forum, and bingo, I'm in business. So I thank all of you guys for the help/info as it was a big help.
