I was thinking about taking mine big stock pitman arm to a local machine shop and have them resize it to be 6 1/4" ...surely cant be that expensive for them to cut it down and resize a pitman arm only.

If anyone needs to know the part # from Champion for this radiator the part # CC1640, just a helpful tip. Its really close just had to drill one of the mounting tabs it fits like a glove. Its a 3 row with a large core 26" wide and 24" tall.

Im learning more the re-cored radiators are in the $400 range. Where some of the champions or ebay aftermakets are in the $200 range. Was hoping for a lesser expensive fix since I have other parts to purchase as well. Thanks for the suggestions guys keepem coming.

Hello Fine People, I need some help finding a replacement radiator for my 68 D100 318 LA, waterpump took a dump and the fan clutch destroyed the stock radiator. Id like to keep it as stock as possible. I brought the radiator to a local radiator shop and they cant even find a core for it. I dont mind...

Yes John I think your right...I think the problem lies with the flywheel...because I can buy a external harmonic balancer... what Im told the 360 flywheel external wont fit the bellhousing on the automatic. :( Its making more sense to just pull the 318 and spend the money plus the cool factor.

I've looked into the swirl port heads..by the time I purchase a $100 set of these heads take them to my local machine shop and have them gone through with 2.02 intake and 1.60 valves I've sent close to over $1100 on both heads to flow and make power for a 400hp 318.
