Length of gear is 9" long overall from base to nose coming out of trans. 4" long from nose to 1o spline gear, is round 3/4" diameter, this end goes in pilot bearing. 10 spline gear is 1' O.D. Are the inside bed rail measurements on a sweptside box the same on a 1961 - 1965 as my 1966 sweptside Powerwagon with both having a 8ft. box. I know the wheelbase changed from 122” to 128” and wondered if it changed box demensions. Thanks for the help

That to me is the fun part of working and owning these old rigs, you get to look for parts rigs or scavenge parts wherever their found. Then you get to install them making your ride better and better. I've been working on vehicles 45yrs approx. It's fun and frustrating, all depends.
