According to all the information I have all 61-69 tailgates were stamped. In 70 most were stamped. The 70 Dude tailgate was not stamped and apparantly the tailgate plaque was an option on the Adventurer.(I cannot verify that last part but someone said that a 70 catalog listed it as an option) All 7...

Which now that i mentioned it has anyone ever noticed that they kinda sound like a jet winding up when u stomp on it. Or maybe it was just my truck.. That sound you hear, is your solid lifters.
