im not to sure of the year of the fly wheel and tranny. but the motor is a 65 383 chry or ply newport. my dad bought the stuff off a old ranch guy here in my home town. its gotta be mid 60's. i know the clutch is new. i put it in right b4 i parked it.

yep i pulled it about 5 or 6 times. pretty simple thing. pull the middle drive line undo the 4 bolts and pull on out. nothing to it.

might try an make sure you got the right pump. some pumps pull the gas to the pump and the others push the gas. another thing is to look at is to make sure were the gas comes out of the tank it isnt plugged.

tranny's makin some noise
i finally got my 67 up an driving for the 1st time in years. let me tell ya. the tranny is making a bunch of noise. so i checked the fluid and it is full. are the standard 4 speeds in these easy to rebuild?

sometimes mine does this also. try smacking it with your hand as you pull the handle. not like the hulk does just a love tap. you know these old dodges need a lil love every now and then. it just show them who is boss.

were i found one was on a i wanna say a 66 dodge van with a 318. it had a what you are needing. also schucks had sold me a new one for pretty cheap. cant remember the amps it put out though. im sure you can put a double pulley on a single pulley 100 or 200 amp alt.

a ground is the biggest part of wiring. if you have hardly any grounds add a bigger gauge wires were it needs it. fire wall to back of block. block to frame. frame to battery. pretty much makes it a loop. replace all the power wires with bigger gauge wire also. anything will help with these old dodg...
