I also found another local part store with paper that did the same think about $160 plus core. It will take a week...

Re: W300 wheels

Hey guys, quick one, 67 w300 should the 16" split wheels be 6 hole or 3 hole. Here is my idea. Stockton uses a 1/2" piece of plate steel as the center section and they are not even DOT approved! I am thinking of buying 16.5" rims on the cheap and cuutting out the centers. I can have the centers mach...

Re: 1965 W300 Crew on web

I am happy to say that she is now mine. It is a 67 with the poly motor. The body is in pretty good condition the front cab mounts are a little soft but she is getting put back together. Dodgemain was the previous owner. Great guy and I would definitely buy from him again. He said it wasa rare one be...

Re: Side step fuel tanks

Did you every get anywhere on this idea? I have a W300 crew cab that I am doing a Cummins swap and have been thinking of dual saddles. with the measurements I am using I would be around 45gallons/tank. http://www.metaltanks.com/tank-capacity-calculators This place has about all the parts you need to...

Re: Cummins swap

I think I saw a thread on here in which someone did just that. I though about it but I am concerned about the wheelbase. I plan on using many late model parts for availability and stopping power.

Re: 3.9 Cummins 4BT

morn n, my .02 worth. as with any diesel swap. gearing should be at the top of the list (do to lost rpms.) the 3.9 is a good little engine but unless re balanced and mounted right could rattle your dash or teeth pretty good at a idle. as far as power, depends on your check book. 90-400hp. but money...

Cummins swap

Hey guys, I have search many a conversation on here and have just confused myself even more. I need some advice from some elders. Because of my work I can't always check tags and find out exactly the equipment I have. Right now my truck is a 1967 W300 318 Poly 4speed with divorced transfer case. Fro...

Re: W300 wheels

Don't get me wrong. The 4.88's are cool! I am torn. I love the old tough original but this will be a daily driver for me. Long term, I'll probaably get an early 90's diesel and do a whole swap. That way I would have disc brakes and easier to find parts. I am looking to stay in the 16" wheel for tire...

W300 wheels

I have a set of 6 lug split rim, bud style wheels. Bolt pattern is 6x7.25". They are 16' tall. Does anyone know where I can get some 1 piece steel wheels with less back spacing. I would hate to have to change shafts. If it comes to that I would just swap the whole axle for better gears and brakes. I...
