I have done this swap before, you will need the correct trans crossmember. You can line up the cable by disconnecting the cable and finding the correct detent. You will need the throttle pressure linkage from the carb to the trans as it controls the line pressure in the trans, not just downshifting-...

The other option is a Volare style suspension(all Mopar then). I put that under my 64,yes my stock 67 needs constant input while driving.

You may have to turn down the register on the front of the torque converter to fit the end of the crank. I ran into this with an early 70's block before, wedged as soon as trans seated on back of block.

I have been offered a 66 CSS truck for 1500$,has non original 318 la motor, bucket seats and console in truck, has rally truck dash, basically straight but the typical door corner and hood rust. With spare doors and a hood. Wondering if worth it? Thoughts. Thanks
