Re: Camper crazy
the W300 Body appears to be in exceptional original condition/original paint/nice hood align. Nice when they have a roof over head, keep the moisture off. I think it came form SoCal, then went to NM. I expect some damage from the roof overhead struts at the cowl.

I will post a few more pics. Here is the rear shot, it looks very similar to the Chinook Mobilodge style.....or a school bus!

Camper crazy
I sold the 1967 D300 Caveman to a buyer in Athens, Georgia, now have the funds to purchase what I really wanted....the 1966 W300 Chinook. It is a massive beast for sure, another trip to New Mexico is in order.

Re: Dodge Doble take....
I say those bodies are coach built, since the Fords and Chevies are done in the same fashion.
Or the tooling could have been done at a Dodge plant in S. America or Mexico.
Since those Dodge non-Swept Sweptlines continued up to 1980, anything is possible.

Re: D700 Transmission Questions
I replaced a bad NP435 with a good NP540 (1 - 2) and it fit the bellhousing with no issues.
But this was in a PC500 with a Perkins 6.354. I don't think it would matter with a gas bell H though.

busted some knuckles getting this 1965 W300CC going, all worth while when I let my 13yo son drive his first Power Wagon yesterday.

seems like that truck was for sale on the mainland a few years ago...in the midwest or so.
rare to see a W300 with the custom cab trim, even more unusual is the factory grill guard generally only seen on the military trucks.
The W300 Utiline Dually has a great look to it.
