Have you checked the idle stepper motor? Sometimes spraying carb cleaner through the idle stepper motor works.

Re: W250 coil suspension chassis swap under a swepty
I just finished looking at all your pictures. You do nice work. :clap Where did you find those cab mounts? Were they from Vintage Power Wagon? I did notice your firewall...I should have looked at all the pictures before asking if you cut yours. I believe I saw in one of Powerwagoncrazy's pictures he...

Re: W250 coil suspension chassis swap under a swepty
Thanks for your replies guys. GWW thanks for the pictures, that is exactly what I was wondering about. The frame on the newer vehicles seem to me to have more curves to it then the 1993 and older frames. I was concerned with the rad support, cab and box mounting height on the frame. I didn't want to...

W250 coil suspension chassis swap under a swepty
I hope the topic says what I'm trying to say. Have any of you completed a chassis swap from a 1994 and newer W series Dodge and placed it under a swepty? I like the ride comfort the coil suspension provides in the newer 4X4 trucks with the Cummins. I'm weighing all options before I start on my truck...

Truck looks pretty good! You didn't pick that up in Medicine Hat by chance? Saw one on Kijiji for sale from the Hat, looked like that one.

Re: headers
I've got a 62 Fargo that I've put a Volare clip on. I have a 360 with headers on it. I'm not 100% sure but I believe they are car headers. The collectors were cut off and I tied the exhaust pipe directly to the headers. I'm not sure if I ran over or under the crossmember....sorry. The truck is store...

I wouldn't pay that much up here in Canada. If you have a difficult time finding trucks in that condition in your area, maybe that's a good price. Sorry, not much of a help for you, but it is definitely a nice looking truck!

I tried to installing the MC onto the brake booster with the seal thingy on, but there is no way it fits.
I'm guessing that rubber boot would be for manual brakes...they wouldn't require that boot when attached to a brake booster.
Just my

Wow! I've never seen a long box like that. I hope that was included in the deal you made? Make sure you get it raised out of the weeds; stop the chance of any rusting :2cents Did your cousin end up shortening the frame to accomodate the short box? Nice truck!! The box is included. The frame did not...

Re: unexplainable whine...
If you drive your truck at say 40mph and manually downshift the transmission from 3rd into 2nd, does it make the same whine? Could be the planetary gears in your tranny, and that's pretty common.
