So, for those who have been there, done that, are the holes for AMP, FUEL, TEMP, and OIL 2 1/16" or 2 5/8"?

I'm looking to install a modern, shunted ammeter.

Most are rated a -60 thru +60 amps

Since i have a 65 amp alternator, can i safely use the aforementioned Ammeter?

Does it pull the max amps thru the meter, or only the drawn amps?

Good call, dash was grounded, but the little voltage reducer for the gas gauge was not. One L bracket and some sandpaper later, the thermostat now reads properly.
