my truck, originally purchased by the nevada test site as a paint hauler, has a weird rear end gearing or somethin. guess it can haul more but the top speed is kinda lame at around 70ish

mine is from the Nevada National Security Site, or the Test site here in nevada, north of las vegas. I guess they used it to paint *#%^. because the bed had 6 inches of dried paint in it when we got it

kinda *#%^@ lighting but i painted that in my garage with a conventional gun. looked perfect. First time painting anything also. kinda used the best paint available (IMHO) ....PPG deltron DBU and PPG Urethane clears.

duramax turbo on 225 6-cyl
i am about to obtain 2 duramax turbo's from some chevy truck that requires a duramax (im getting them from a friend at GM who's manager is sick of them being in the shop). I was wondering how hard it'll be to hook one up to the 1970 dodge d100 that i have. Truck has 58000 miles on it.

My 1970 dodge 100 wouldnt start with the key, but would with a jumper button from starter to battery. After switching the battery, the relay, the starterswitch, all the wiring lengths under the dash.
