Re: Another new swepty owner
1966 D200, 318, auto, camper special. Runs and drives, drove it home! Need to do a little body work on it and get the radiator re-cored. Looking forward to a winter's worth of work on it. Don That is a really solid truck! These swepty trucks get quite addicting. Post more pictures as your build get...

Re: 1971 D-100 Adventurer
I finally got the Adventurer home about a month ago. It needed a new fuel line from the fuel pump to the filter, fresh gas and a battery, and it fired up and runs great. I put some 8 inch steel wheels on the back with some poverty caps. I really like how it looks. I will attach a picture, although n...

Re: dodge diesel emblems, value?
That is a really neat truck. I would love to have a Dodge heavy truck. The Bighorn is #1 on my bucket list, but one like this would do nicely as an RV puller. There's one like it coming up at auction in your neck of the woods next month. Its listed under fargo but I spoke to the guy having the auct...

Re: 1971 D-100 Adventurer
I love the truck, BUT, is that a Buick glass top next to it? I've NEVER seen one of those in the 47 years I've been a automobile nut.... Could you post some pictures of that for me? Thanks Joel The Buick is actually a Pontiac that belongs to a friend of mine that I acquired the '71 Adventurer from....

Re: 1971 D-100 Adventurer
Sounds good! I still have your parts, I just haven't headed over to Ab. yet. Sheldon No problem. As of today I no longer own this truck, but I would still like to get those parts. The orange '71 is going to my cousin in trade for a '61 Fargo powerwagon I have posted about before. The tailgate panel...

The rockers are rusty, but everything else looks o.k. I haven't pulled the carpet yet.MikeMc wrote:jgb, Ram Charger is teasing you!!! Don't be tempted!!!
It looks rust free, did Dodge make water drain improvements in the 70's to help prevent rust or does your new truck have rust?

It is a cool interior! Thanks! I am looking forward to getting it home and giving it a good clean.robertob wrote:Love that interior - One of my rust-free doors was from a truck like that and I had to fill something like 15 holes on the inside sheet metal.

Re: The fish we caught last weekend
My brother inlaws and I went to Columbia River for Chinook salmon. Fishing was really slow but we had a great trip. I cought my first Stergon. It was almost 7 feet and took about 25 minutes to land at the boat, it is out of season so we gladdly let it go. Love the truck! Do you have a build thread ...
