Re: Gas gauge wiring for 1967 Dodge D100
Can you post a photo of the back of the gauge set? I recently restored a set of '67 gauges and added an external voltage limiter. PM me and I can send you photo's of what I did and an explanation. Proper grounding is a key factor to protecting the gauges ( fuel and temp.). ![Thumbs UP :Thumbsup](./images/smilies/icon_thumright.gif)

Re: 67 d100 rear axle seals and bearing
There is an inner axle housing seal that is removed/installed from the outside. There is a load adjuster on the right axle to adjust end play. Axle bearings are loaded with bearing grease. The 1967 FSM has the step by step for the procedure. Can be found online. :Thumbsup https://www.ebay.com/itm/23...

Re: 62 Brake Light
PwrWgnDrvr, yes sir, the brake light always worked on the right. This morning I pulled the steering wheel. Disassembled the turn signal. Everything in there was pretty grimy, I don't know if it had ever been opened up. I used some electrical cleaner and lubricant to get the turn signal switch movin...

Re: Carpet on gas tank - ACC Kit
Are talking about carpet and not the vinyl flooring from ACC? If carpet, pretty sure it was only used in the CSS with bucket seats and not with a bench seat. That carpet/curtain was attached above the tank on the cab just below the window (at least it was on my '68 Adventurer with buddy seats.) I at...

Re: Source for gas pedal '65
Vans has this listed, not same as original. :thinking They also have a pedal for an A100 that looks the same as the original, but you have to modify the back side contact area. Several have used the A100 . https://vansauto.com/product/pedal-pad-accelerator-62-65-b-body/ https://vansauto.com/product/...

The A833 4 speed will not work with your Hydro. set up. The 10 spline NP435 would be a direct fit. Do you have the e brake on your existing A745 3 speed?

Re: How to clamp air filter housing
Thanks for the info. That’s what I suspected,…and that link helps a lot. If nobody has an air cleaner assembly to sell me I’ll likely make one of those clamps. I think if I slit a length of 1/4 inch soft copper pipe with a cut off wheel and open it up a bit, flatten the ends into flanges, drill som...

Why not start right here with a price you are comfortable with ( for sale section). There are multiple Sweptline Facebook sites with members looking to buy a nice original Swepty. And then there is Ebay.

No experience with Ram man conversion. I used the Scarebird front disc set up on 2 of my D100's ('61, '67). Great product. They now offer conversion for the D200. ![Thumbs UP :Thumbsup](./images/smilies/icon_thumright.gif)

Re: 383 vs 360 la
My 1968 D100 LWB Adventure came with a 383/727/3:55 sure grip. It had an aftermarket Edelbrock 600 cfm 4 barrel/Edelbrock Performer intake, dual exhaust. Ran like a scalded ape. Much better power than the 318 in my '67 d100. I've never had the externally balance 360 in a Swepty, but many have.
