I MISS MY 1965 SWEPTLINE!!!
I really miss my 1965 Sweptline, now I wished I never sold it. More fun at the car shows than my 1989 Rolls-Royce. Never let a small profit get your Sweptline away from you. Those old pie plate headlamps, that beautiful blue color, the near perfect orifinal custom interior, the most beautiful steerin...

I REALLY MISS MY TRUCK!!!
I really miss my 1965 Sweptline, wished I never sold it now. A word to the wise, never let a small profit interfere for your love of a certain truck.... I now have a 1989 Rolls-Royce which isfun to take to shows, etc, but it isn't at all like my Sweptline was. The old Sweptline lingers in my memory,...

Re: GERRY'S NEW TOY!!!!!!!!
Rich: The truck has had too many upgrades, too many "changes", I like original components, not messed with making it "different". I thank you for the lead, I saw it advertisded and read the whole history of it. The fellow is asking $12,500 for it and it still "needs". Not for me, but thank you for t...

Cris:
I sold my '67 Chrysler Newport Custom Sedan. Is the Dodge Adventurer still for sale? If so please contact me at gerrya@linkny.com. Thanks, I'm looking for an immaculate original unrestored (I hate restored cars/trucks) Dodge Adventurer.
Thanks,
Gerry

Re: Not Sweptline related but.....
Thanks to all who replied. The car has been sold. It's going to a Chrysler collector of "C" bodied cars in Beacon, NY. I'm quite sure he will enjoy it, not another "survivor" in this condition for sure....
Gerry
PS I'm looking, a nice Adventurer in original condition would be a contender....

Re: Not Sweptline related but.....
OK, I've lowered the price. Are there any genuine buyers out there? If so give me a call and we'll put a deal together. If you love the "C" body Chryslers, you won;t be dissappointed, I doubt there is a nicer 1967 Newport Custom Sedan anywhere for what I'll sell it for. No nonsense callers please, I...

Re: Not Sweptline related but.....
Let's see, the banks are only paying 1-2% interest. Might as well keep the money under the mattress. Or the smart money is buying classic cars. The return on the investment over five years is far more than any bank or stock market crapshoot. This car will escalate in value as time goes on. The "smar...

Re: Not Sweptline related but.....
I'll post it in Hemmings Motor News next month. Yes, it's a sedan, and that's why in it's present condition (immaculate and show ready) I'm only asking $9850. First off you couldn't paint one, rechrome the bumpers and trim the interior to this standard for this amount. Lastly IF it were a coupe or c...

Re: Not Sweptline related but.....
66 Patrick Thanks, I appreciate it. Yes, it is a sedan, if it were a coupe or convertible in this original condition it would be worth more than double what I'm asking. As the years go by, this car can do nothing but appreciate in value, all the high end Mopar muscle cars are in the stradisphere pri...

Not Sweptline related folks, but it is perhaps of some interest to a fussy Mopar lover: I'm selling my gorgeous 1967 "C" Body Chrysler Newport Custom Sedan. It is near showroom new, 90% original paint, interior looks like it just came from the factory. It has 38456 genuine original miles on it. Rece...

Re: GERRY'S NEW TOY!!!!!!!!
Hello ladies & gents: Well, I took the new "C" body Chrysler to two car shows this weekend. Although the car is magnificant, I miss thye Sweptline. Wish I never sold the Sweptline. The Chrysler drives like a dream, is everything anyone would want in a near showroom "survivor", but it's definitely no...

John: Do Stop in Geneva and see me. Call my cell 315-521-1688 before you come so I'll be ready for you. We'll have lunch or something, and I'll show you the Chrysler. Thanks for the tip on the "Big Chrysler" site, I'll try it. I've never seen a '67 car this "new" and I've see a lot of them both orig...

Re: GERRY'S NEW TOY!!!!!!!!
It floats down the road in dead silence. What a cool driving car, plenty of power from that 383 with 4bbl and dual exhaust. As for the cleanliness of the engine compartment, IT HAS NEVER BEEN PRESSURE WASHED or anything, just wiped clean Pledge and soft toweling from new. The fellow who owned it bef...

John: I think you're correct, Powerwagon has a bad sense of humor I think. Anyway, next time you're going to Penn Yan, let me know, we'll meet up and stop for lunch there at the little Penn Yan diner. We could also take a quick ride to Sherman Hollow Coach, the Mennonites who restored my 1900 carria...
