I'm interested too. They seem to run the gamut. Unfortunately, I suspect that in most cases, you get what you pay for. Anybody know of a good quality medium priced set? OK; I have the auto trans crank that wasn't bored the whole way to 0.940 ID on the crank. Rather than disassemble the whole mess, I made a 'lathe' out of my el cheapo drill press, a long impact socket and some hardware as suggested by Paul on the Poly mailing list. Assuming you have the solid lifters, I would back off on the adjustment, disengage the rocker and slide it over to allow access to the valves. Not sure this will work very well, if at all, but it's is worth a shot. I think there is a tool to compress the springs that would use the shaft as a fulcrum...
