I am in the process of blasting the floor of the stripped cab to install all of the pans and steps. When my friend cleaned out the floor good we found out there ...

Re: Devil's Food Dodge
My Uncle Julius loved those ring wheels. He used to tell me they were invented for holding your beer on a straight road. Set it on the ring and lean it a bit onto the horn button.
He died in a firey crash.....no joke.

Re: Flat head six
I meant to mention the limiting factor of the head design. I do alot of model A stuff and the head is similar. The only thing in a model A Ford four banger is ignition, carb, and bearing insert instead of babbot for increased RPM and reliable distance performance. We do put in V8 clutch and flywheel...

Re: Flat head six
Call Vintage power wagons. They deal with that alot with the M37's and WM's.

Not goingto be much upgrade in a flat six other than ignition. I have seen a trick throttle body setup on a side manifold.

Re: New Shocks
You can also pull your leafs and have them rearched. Not hard to do, and relatively inexpensive. When I restore a vehicle I have them tested, magnufluxed, rearched and new pin and bushings. I do alot of Model A stuff and rearch everything. My buddy owns a chassis shop and I use his machine. Takes ab...

Re: How to replace King Pins
I am suprised there was not a reamless kit available. With those you just knock out and install. I'm use to large trucks so nI dont know what kits are available for these small trucks.

Re: Better paint em while ya can
This is similar to chrome shops, the EPA makes it impossible to operate. Soon the small business will be gone and we all will be government employees. I deal with taxes, government requirements, and insurance makes it impossible to make a business grow enough that I can keep guys employed. You can't...

Re: 19.5 tires
What I was looking for is an All Terrain tire like tread pattern similar to those used when these wheels were an option. I operate a Heavy and Medium Duty repair shop and dont really want such a hard side wall tire. I have several photos of these trucks from the time period and they have a more semi...

19.5 tires
Hey Guys,
I have come across some vintage 19.5 rims for my W200. Does any know of some tires available? I am crossed eyed from looking thru the web for these things. I know someone has them as I saw an ad in a magazine for vintage military trucks. I can't find the ad, nor remember the company.

Re: PICS of progress 1965 Crew Cab
I'll share a secret.......you really need to wet your finger constantly as you spred the epoxy and feather it. I sanded and shaped a little more than I should had to. You do not have to be perfect with the fine sanding the primer fills in good. I coated twice with the mix. I am very pleased with the...

Re: PICS of progress 1965 Crew Cab
I will pull it saturday along with tranny and transfer case. The engine goes to my machinist, I willprobably put a four barrel intake and a modern carb on it. It is just to hard at this altitude to use the original carb. I will use the original engine and keep the other parts. I really would like to...
