Re: Gauge Cluster.

Lol she's certainly heavy duty and its probably best I used 1/4. Anything less and I think it would have warped really bad when I cut everything with the torch.

Re: Shackle Reversal

My truck was clearing 35s at less than stock height so I should be able to clear the 42s with 5 inchs over stock height with a little fender trimming. Might bump my axle about an inch forward. As for the bracket...I make all my own parts. I'm tired of paying ridiculous shipping and its better making...

Re: Shackle Reversal

See I dont want mine to drop down like that, I want mine to be like the 80-93 rams with the bushing put in the middle of the frame. Im trying to keep this truck as low as I can and fit the 42s. Also the rear of my truck is currently sitting on the bulls just figuring out some things to start my front.

Re: Shackle Reversal

I already have my own and you can also reuse the stock ones if you can get them off in one peice. My plan is to weld a 2.5" bushing sleeve into the frame then run 5 inch shackles.

Re: w300 fenders on d100?

Take a stab and say those are 37/38 inch tires. I'm not sure those fenders are actually from a D300/W300 they don't seem to flare out quite as much but there definitely something different from 1/2 3/4 ton ones.

Shackle Reversal

How many people have done a shackle reversal on their W100/W200? As is moving the shackle on the front axle behind it instead of infront.
Pictures is what Im looking for.

Re: 383 Big Block Questions

I always heard it was to keep the intake runners and carb cooler. Cold dense air=more hp Not with the hot exhaust crossover running underneath. Will work better if you remove it,then you have a air gap manifold. Wrap some insulation in tin foil so its a 1" thick when your done, turn on your bbq full...

Jeeze I can't seem to find to many cheap sweptlines in Alberta, there is plenty of them if you keep your eye out though. I find them every time I'm in Alberta!! Found TWO Dudes the last time I was looking...in one day!! The trick is: get off the main roads! Tried that but the farmers never seem to ...
