Rick,

Did you get that 70 with the camper in Bakersfield? I think I have seen it near one of my friends houses a few years ago.

Re: Sweptliner Stopped By Today

Mc Mobile Is a very well built truck and is smooth is every aspect (throttle response, brakes, steering and sound). It is MASSIVE! just look at the picture. There is a lot of shifting involved, kinda makes your arm hurt thinking about it  :joker .

Re: rim size to replace widowmakers

David, I know how to change widow maker tires, its dangerous (killed one of the guys at the shop a few years before I started) but I can do it. The reason why they are so dangerous is because the grove for the lock ring can get rusty making it so that the ring wont seat properly so when you start to...

Re: Windshield removal

When the glass shop did mine they used what looked like box cutter razors, and some kind of hook to remove the lock strip. Also wear safety glasses because if the rubber is old and dry it will come shooting off of there like bb's.

Re: Happy, Happy, Happy :)

Where are you going to take your truck for glass? I took mine to Bob's auto glass and they ordered me a brand new windshield and installed both the front and rear seals for me (and the glass) for $275. It only took bout 50min (but my truck is a lot lower to the ground than yours so who knows) for th...

Re: Happy, Happy, Happy :)

Mike, I agree with the other truckers about pressure because you can easily pop the bead from the rim. It is a pain in the a$$ trying to re-seat the beads on the side of the road. We use whats called a cheetah bead seater, its literally a small air tank with a shaped nozzle and a valve to release ab...

Re: Happy, Happy, Happy :)

Are those 19.5"s? If so I would run a Bridgstone R250F at about 80 pounds, or a Michelin XZE (They may only have it in 22.5 and 24.5). Though the Hankook AH11 is a tire that is a good balance of quality and price. If you do go with duals in the rear balance all of the tires going across the rear, th...

Re: New CD player & Speakers

Jimmy it looks like you have a nice system there. I also cut my doors for my speakers. I put two amps and a 12" subwoofer behind the seat and put the 61/2" speakers in the door, with the tweeters up in the corners of the dash. I had to cut the AM plate to make room for the Alpine CDE-102 deck.

Re: Dodge Trucks in the movies and TVs

Last night I was watching Fireball 500 and during one of the opening race scenes, as one of the cars goes around a turn the camera sweeps over the infield and I spotted a '66 100 or 200 with a camper in the bed, maybe it's a camper special. :thinking either way I thought it was cool. There was also ...

Also it is not as secure as you think about your identity when it comes to purchases. Using google analitics, Firefox is the most popular browse...

Engine Noise?

I just started my truck today after not driving it for three days due to an infection. When it fired up I noticed that there was a click or knocking sound coming from the engine, I noticed that my oil pressure was a little low so I shut it down and checked the level. I found that I was at the ADD ma...
