Re: 1965 CSS info??
Ok, thanks guys. Somebody offered me a '65 four eye a couple of days ago and it appears to be legit. It is a shortbed truck with a big block and the correct bucket seats along with the hood stripes that are in the right position. There is a big block in place but it cannot be factory because it is r...

Re: 383&4 speed/out of Dodge Challenger/Whats It Worth ?
I see the 4 speeds ranging from $300-$500 here. The 383's in this area are almost free no matter what condition. Unless it's nicely rebuilt with the paperwork or something? A seized but buildable 383 here is probably going to fetch $100+/-, HP may bring more to the right buyer as some would like th...

Re: Poly electronic ignition - best options please
You can buy the electronic ignition wiring harness from Mopar for less than $30, buy you a spark box, ballast resistor, and wire it up. Or you can cut the wiring harness from a '73 to about a 1980 or so Mopar from a yard and do the swap even cheaper. Easy to do! Getting rid of the points makes a wor...

Re: What should I replace my 318 with?
Good question... I guess I am stuck with a 318...since I have no intrest in getting rid of my NP435 hydraulic clutch setup. I don't want the difficult task of locating a hydraulic clutch flywheel and bellhousing for a big block, which will be expensive once I do locate the items. Don't make a hydrau...

your going to have variations on the weight depending on wheels, and what is in the bed, etc. and some of it will depend on your personel desire, if you want it to be a heavy truck you'll get it over 4000lbs if its close to the factory tires and your just courious to what it weighs it will come in ...
